Mission and Vision

The mission of Steinmetz Academic Centre is to focus on student learning for all students, including ELL and students with disabilities, through which students gain knowledge and develop skills needed to function in society and to lead productive lives. To achieve this mission, faculty and staff will focus on implementing smaller learning communities, increasing student engagement and personalization, using best practices and school-wide literacy strategies to build students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and comprehension skills, and developing professional knowledge and skills.

Steinmetz Academic Centre's vision is to provide a high-quality education for all of our students, including ELL and students with disabilities. Our goal is to develop life-long learners, who upon graduation will be able to attend the college of their choice, pursue further technical training, or enter the world of work, with the ultimate goal of being productive members of society.
